Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in product strategy, roadmap definition and tactical support

Amadesa, Inc. is looking for an experienced online marketing/ web development professional who is well-versed in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for a redesign of a business-to-business software website. The ideal candidate should have a firm knowledge of SEO best-practices, principles, and techniques, with at least 2-3 years of proven experience. This is a part-time role (10-15 hours per week) with an expected duration of 3 plus months.

Responsibilities

• Use of web tools to research keywords, competitors, link analysis, track site traffic, rankings, and ultimately leads and sales
• Identify and implement innovative strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listings without being blacklisted
• Optimize on-site content for search engine visibility, which includes HTML, site structure, page layout, copy-writing, and navigation
• Diagnosing natural search issues for site audits
• Log file analysis
• Analyze revenue generation from SEO activities including both customer acquisition and site monetization
• Monitor website key metrics using Google Analytics and Coremetrics. Communicate potential issues and proposed recommendations to stakeholders
• Developing and implementing link-building strategies

Skill/Qualifications

• 2 years of comprehensive SEO experience and understanding
• Strong familiarity with current and developing SEO trends
• Experience in SaaS environment
• Strong Analytical and Logical skills
• Thorough knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer, Wordtracker and other web-based tools for site management and SEO
• Familiarity with Web Analytics software (Google Analytics, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, or Omniture)
• Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred but not required
• Background in online marketing, customer acquisition, website editing, web mastering and/or development preferred
• Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and ability to multi task
• A sharp mind with an ability to understand concepts

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

As our Marketing Intern you will:

• Conduct online oversight activities (identify top 25 forums/blogs, post questions and responses, monitor for viral marketing)
• Provide monthly Web analytics reports to divisional managers and marketing team, with a focus on marketing effectiveness, key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuous advertising improvement.
• Write and edit marketing collateral, communications, and sales materials
• Engage in posting and monitoring social media networks

• Design and implement market assessment surveys to target customers
• Update competitive briefs including customer wins, recent news and noteworthy items

You should have:

• Exceptional writing skills
• Junior or Senior standing in E-Commerce, Online Marketing, or Online Communications
