Formulated by Legor® Group, this basic yellow master alloy is a good-quality general-purpose casting alloy; additives include lower amounts of silver and higher amounts of zinc and silicon. The alloy is ideal for casting and has some mechanical workability. A master alloy casting grain is a pre-formulated mix of base-metal elements; add the appropriate amount of precious metal grain to the master alloy to create the casting alloy you need. Sold by the troy ounce (ozt.).
