This Ferris® Orange wax slice assortment ensures you have the correct thickness of carving wax on hand when you need it. Orange wax is the hardest carving wax available, designed for producing exceptionally crisp details on a CNC milling machine. The wax is formulated to perform well for traditional hand-carving techniques as well as in high-speed milling equipment; its non-gummy formula won’t clog tools or load hand files. The industry standard for detailed carving waxes, Ferris® waxes are easily turned on a lathe and burn out cleanly from flasks. Low ash content makes these waxes perfect for investment casting and lost wax patterns. This assortment contains 17 pieces measuring 3-1/2"W x 1-1/2"H in the following thicknesses (approx.): one 1", three 0.7", four 0.28", five 0.19" and four 0.14".
