The dead-soft flexibility of this round, #304 stainless steel wire lets you easily bind even the most delicate projects for pickling, soldering or bath plating; the wire can be reused, making it very economical. Drop your work directly into the pickle pot or plating bath; the wire won’t contaminate the solution like iron binding wires will. Excellent for use in rhodium and electrocleaning solutions. Round wire is ideal for creating bangles, rings, cuff bracelets, and a myriad of components that embellish other findings; the wire is soft. It is the bread-&-butter of jewelry making and is useful for a wide variety of techniques. Dead soft wire is easy to bend, shape and hammer; it is an ideal starting point for forming, shaping and wire-wrapping. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another). When finishing your pieces, also keep in mind that the harder the metal is, the brighter a finish it will take. Packaged on a handy 8-ounce spool; approximately 1,185 ft. per spool.
