The first feature you may notice is the rectangular bowl that sits atop this magnetic super-agitating MT-300A pin finisher. This is part of the equation but the real magic happens inside the stainless steel housing. There, a powerful, 1hp motor and a proprietary system of magnets—that takes advantage of both negative and positive poles—create a unique magnetic field within the tank. Not only the pin media but also your workpieces are irresistibly drawn laterally around the tank and vertically up and down through the solution. The clear plastic bowl (12-3/4"W x 10-7/16"D x 7-7/8"H), with its short and long sides and rounded corners, also helps to keep the media and solution continually churning. This pin finisher offers an automatic turn inversion commuter that provides control the directional movement (rightwards or leftwards). Keep extra bowls (available separately) on hand to increase your production; have one bowl running while you load and unload workpieces into a second. In addition, the pin media have smooth, rounded ends and are made of a special stainless steel alloy that supports the superior finishing of this machine. Your workpieces are finished faster and more effectively than is possible with any other pin finisher. Ideal larger finishing and tumbling runs, the 12.5-liter bowl holds 400 grams of stainless steel pin media (0.5mm x 5mm; included) and accommodates up to 1,500 grams of workpieces (with 400g media, that's a 1,900-gram load of product that you can finish per batch). A built-in 30-minute timer allows you to set the finisher for automatic operation; alternatively, use the manual setting to turn the finisher on and off as needed. The frequency variable switch allows you to adjust the frequency and achieve the best results. Bowl includes a snap-on, water-tight lid.
