Foredom® K.5240 Woodcarving Flex Shaft Kit

The Foredom K.5240 kit includes everything you need to get working right out of the box—no worries or struggling with selecting the right tools for the job. This kit is ideal for carving tasks, creating models, shaping components and more. Includes a motor with flex shaft and handpiece, a controller and an accessory kit; the motor and flex shaft are covered by a manufacturer's 2-year limited warranty. Kit components include:

• One H.44T handpiece, a collet-style handpiece that offers the least runout of any flex shaft handpiece, making it ideal for precise work. This handpiece adapts to larger accessories with shanks up to 1/4"; includes 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" collets.
• One Series SR motor, the best choice for general use. The 1/6 HP, ball-bearing, hang-up style motor runs in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000rpm and offers substantially more power than most of our universal motors (6% more than Series CC and 33% more than Series S and old SR). Features a 39" long key-tip inner shaft and outer sheath (and can be connected to any Foredom interchangeable handpiece).
• One C. FCT speed control, an extra-wide, foot-operated control with solid state electronics and heavy-duty plastic housing.
• One AKWK53 accessory kit, 27-piece assortment with 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" shank accessories.
• One tube flexible shaft grease.
