This 14-karat yellow-gold hook & eye clasp features an elegant teardrop-shaped eye with bead details and a hook with a ball end. Hook & eye clasps are two part clasps that close by hooking one side (the hook) to a large closed ring (the eye). They tend to be larger than other clasp types and are ideal for larger designs, bead strands or bib-style necklaces. The open hook relies on the necklace having enough weight to keep the clasp secure. Manufactured to exacting quality standards in our solar-powered facility.
