Snap-Set mounts are perfect for inexpensive gemstones and are quick and easy to set; lay the stone facedown and position the mounting over the stone. Press gently on the mounting and the prongs snap into place, securing the stone. Some adjustments may need to be made, especially on hand-cut stones. The friction post features a groove that helps provide the most secure and comfortable fit; post earrings require an ear nut to keep the post in place.
