This 14-karat white gold ring mounting features a 4-prong basket mounting that holds one 5mm (1/2-ct., approx.) round faceted gemstone. The basket mounting features open sides designed to allow more light to reach and move through the stone, enhancing its brightness and brilliance. The shank is set with eighteen 0.0075-ct. round diamonds (SI clarity/G, H color; 0.135CTTW), nine on each side of the center mounting, in individual 4-prong mountings. Cut a seat in the prongs to accommodate your stone, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place.
