Use this black asphaltum-type product for superior resistance to mordants in etching baths. Apply etching resist to a clean metal surface where no etching should occur. Allow to completely dry (30 minutes) before immersing the piece in the etching bath. The resist is easily cleaned from your piece with etching resist thinner.
