This 18-karat yellow gold push clasp features a sleek oval shape and a spring-loaded hinge opening. The clasp is lightweight but strong, constructed of slightly hollowed cast components that are assembled and soldered together after casting. Hook & eye clasps are two part clasps that close by hooking one side (the hook) to a large closed ring (the eye). They tend to be larger than other clasp types and are ideal for larger designs, bead strands or bib-style necklaces.
