Formulated by Legor® Group, this basic medium yellow master alloy, is a good-quality, general purpose casting alloy that delivers a medium yellow color in 10- and 14-karat gold. Additives include lower amounts of silver and higher amounts of zinc and silicon. A master alloy casting grain is a pre-formulated mix of base-metal elements; add the appropriate amount of precious metal grain to the master alloy to create the casting alloy you need. Sold by the troy ounce (ozt.).
