Bonny Doon Small Anticlastic Forming Stake

This small anticlastic forming stake from Bonny Doon delivers a high level of stability; the hexagonal center of the stake clamps securely in a bench vise, providing a more stable work surface than traditional forming stakes. This stake is CNC-milled, so has less flex than traditional stakes. There are six graduated anticlastic depressions on one end and four on the other; the curves between the depressions can be used for small synclastic forming. The stake can be secured in most standard bench vises; for the most secure hold, use with the Bonny Doon vertical vise—the points of the hex shape index into the grooves in the vise face, providing an uncompromising grip on the stake.
