This substantial sterling silver split-shank ring mounting features a bezel mounting that holds one 10mm round cabochon or other flat-back stone or crystal. The shank is tapered, making it comfortable to wear. Use traditional setting techniques to set the stone in the mounting. Place your stone in the bezel and push the walls inward over the stone, holding it in place. For added security, if desired, place a drop or two of jeweler's epoxy in the cup before placing the stone.
