Highlight the pearl’s good luster by setting it in silver or add contrast with yellow-gold or oxidized findings. Use jeweler’s epoxy to secure the pearl on a pearl peg. Freshwater cultured pearls are cultivated from mussels that are specially selected for their prolific production of nacre. A-grade pearls show minimal blemishes.
