This sterling silver, rhodium-plated heart-shaped locket features clear glass set into a beveled frame on both sides; mementos, charms, jewels or other tiny treasures contained within are visible from both sides. The contents of the locket have a free-floating, almost kaleidoscopic appearance as they move around inside. For a single-sided look, add metal or decorative paper as a back plate. The locket is hinged at the side and a snap closure holds it securely closed with the design elements safely inside. The smooth, sterling silver tapered bail narrows to where it connects through a fixed ring on the pendant, and accommodates cord or chain up to 2mm. This locket is plated with rhodium to ensure a durable, tarnish-resistant finish.
