These Swanstrom pliers (NR1649) feature two block-like, hard maple wood jaws with flat interior surfaces that are ideal for shaping sheet, flat stock and wire, and creating bands in metal without marring. The tips are slightly angled inward to allow for extra give when closing the pliers, resulting in a firm, tight grip on even the smallest of pieces. The wood jaws can be replaced when worn, extending the life of the tool indefinitely.
