This 14-karat yellow gold lever-back ear wire features a Snap-Set™ 4-prong mounting that holds one 6mm (0.84-ct., approx.) round faceted gemstone. Snap-Set mountings, intended for inexpensive gemstones, are quick and easy to set; lay the stone face down and position the mounting over the stone. Press gently on the mounting, and the prongs snap into place, securing the stone. Some adjustments may need to be made, especially on hand-cut stones.
