This 14-karat white gold ring mounting features a 4-prong basket mounting that holds one 4.8mm (0.4-ct., approx.) round faceted gemstone. The basket setting features open sides designed to allow more light to reach and move through the stone, enhancing its brightness and brilliance. The shank and halo around the center mounting are set with 34 0.005-ct. round diamonds (SI clarity/G, H color; 0.17CTTW), in individual 4-prong mountings. Cut a seat in the prongs to accommodate your stone, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place.
