14K Yellow Gold Screw Eye Component

This 14-karat yellow gold component mounting (also called a screw eye) features a peg and is ideal for creating a pearl pendant or pearl earring drops. Set the mounting with one half-drilled pearl or bead. The peg itself is base metal, reducing the gold content (and, therefore, the cost) of this finding; however, because the peg is designed to be completely enclosed by the pearl, the component is considered exempt under FTC standard #67-38 and is legally marketed as 14-karat gold.
