Akron Two-Part RTV-RP Silicone Mold Rubber Compound

Specially formulated to meet the needs of manufacturing jewelers, this Akron RTV RP two-part clear liquid silicone compound is strong and durable with a very high tear strength. Use it to create production molds directly from carved waxes or resin models. Its clear color makes it easy for you to detect air bubbles during the vacuum process and exact the positioning of your mold line during cutting. Because it delivers nearly zero (less than 0.1%) shrinkage, you can depend on highly accurate model reproduction. Cures at room temperature in 24 hours and offers fast-cure options for 30-minute and 1-hour cures. Parts A and B combine to produce 2.2 lbs. of compound.
