These tapered super-flush M-series cutters (M138-2) from Swanstrom feature a small head and fine, tapered jaws, ideal for accessing close areas and trimming wire ends. Swanstrom’s M-series cutters are precise, have exceptional strength and stay sharper longer—perfect for almost all hard-wire cutting applications. Super-flush blades meet flush on the back of the tool; they require much less force to create the cut and leave very little pinch visible on the metal after the cut is made, reducing or eliminating the need for further finishing.

• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and the Scrivet™ set through both halves combines the strength of a rivet with the capability to precisely adjust it. The low-profile, three-position opening stop allows you to create consistent, repeatable cuts without interfering with your access to the work.
• The double-leaf spring, welded in place for added durability, consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.
• The double-ergonomic handles are designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use; all Swanstrom tool handles are latex free. Swanstrom Tools manufactures technically advanced cutters, forged from the highest-quality high-chromium, high-carbon alloy steel; these tools can be hardened up to 65 HRC. This material, along with a unique proprietary heat-treating process and computer-controlled induction edge-hardening maximize tool life.
