The fine gauge of this Argentium® Silver ball head pin makes it ideal for creating drops, dangles and other components. Ball head pins provide a decorative, bead-like end (or starting point) for the components you make with them. Simply choose a head size larger than the hole in your bead or other finding. For components that require extra strength and will need only minimal shaping, 3/4-hard pins are an excellent choice and hold their shape well in the finished component. Choose an appropriate pin thickness based on your design and the hole size of your beads or findings so that they will be held securely in place without wobble or risk of loss. Made with a touch of germanium, Argentium presents a bright-white color that is closer to fine silver than traditional sterling, yet is highly resistant to firescale and less likely to tarnish under most conditions.
