Italtec Oval-Head Flush Cutters

Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec oval-head flush cutters feature sharp, precision edges that provide crisp, repeatable cuts; the oval head shape helps extend the life of the blades. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. Cutters with an oval head tend to be stronger than tapered because the jaws are more substantial. The jaws are made of C70 steel hardened to 62 HRC; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and tend to keep their shape. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.
