Ceramic Blocks for Platinum

Use this hard, super-high-heat ceramic block for platinum soldering projects. Stable, with very little or no thermal expansion, this block will not contaminate platinum or act as a heat sink. Highly heat-reflective, asbestos-free firm ceramic surface focuses heat on the project. Maximum temperature is 3,000°F (1,649°C).
