This sterling silver crimp-style hook & eye clasp features a bright finish and simple design that complements custom necklaces or bracelets—it is ideal for use with 2mm foxtail chain or rubber or leather cord. To use insert the cord into each end of the clasp and crimp the ends of the clasp to secure it in place. Hook & eye clasps are two part clasps that close by hooking one side (the hook) to a large closed ring (the eye). They tend to be larger than other clasp types and are ideal for larger designs, bead strands or bib-style necklaces. The open hook relies on the necklace having enough weight to keep the clasp secure.
