This 14-karat white gold setting holds one 5mm princess-cut faceted gemstone. The V-prongs on this setting are cut with an acute inner angle (90° or less) to support the points of special stone shapes such as princess, marquise, pear, baguette or triangle. A classic choice, the 4-prong setting supports the gemstone on four sides. Use peg settings in ring shanks with a hole; they allow you to be more accurate, clean and quick when positioning the setting on the shank. If desired, clip the peg to use the setting with other ring shanks or components.
