Assembled by Foredom® and "Visionary Goldsmith" Wayne Werner, this polishing kit includes a selection of accessories ideal for the smoothing, polishing and finishing applications used day in and day out by jewelers everywhere. This kit is great for achieving a pre-polish and polish on precious metals as well as pewter and white metals. Remove scratches and sprue marks from workpieces, shape and tidy the inside of rings and clean up solder joints. Use Scotch-Brite™ radial bristle discs to clean and remove dirt, rust and oxidation with no damage to the underlying surface. They run cool and don't load with removed material and, because no compounds are needed, these discs create far less dust than other discs and wheels. Vary disc speed to achieve a variety of surface textures and finishes. Use 2 or 3 discs for small grooves and recessed areas and 6 to 12 discs for wider areas.
