This 1/2-hard 14/20 yellow gold-filled rectangle wire features four flat sides; the flat surfaces are ideal for aligning two or more strands with one another and when soldering components to the wire. Give the wire a twist to create attractive twist wire. Simple hoops, bangles and other components take on a fresh, dynamic look when made using rectangle wire. Metal that is 1/2-hard partially work-hardened and will hold its shape under some stress; ideal for forming structures that will support other components. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable by annealing, heat-hardening or work-hardening. Available in custom cuts of any length, with a minimum weight of 0.01 ozt.
