This soft De-Ox sterling silver half-round wire offers a flat surface that makes it great for wire-wrapping on flat components and helps makes soldering more effective while presenting a round profile in your designs. The alloy contains metals that provide deoxidation properties, making it resistant to tarnish; these materials make up less than 1% of the alloy and are not listed in the SDS.
Soft sterling wire is easy to bend, shape and hammer. Keep in mind that metal hardness is changeable by annealing, heat-hardening or work-hardening.
