Simulated Alexandrite Oval Faceted Gemstone

Made from lab-grown corundum, this oval simulated alexandrite displays a color range from bluish-green to bluish-purple: some gemstones show more blue; some show more purple. This gemstone is an economical alternative to alexandrite, one of the birthstones for June. Use it to create a bold pendant, pair it with complementary-color cabs to create matched sets with earrings or bracelets, or use it to create more complex, multi-gemstone designs. The oval cut is an even, symmetrical shape but elongated. The arrangement of its facets is similar to that of a round brilliant, designed to maximize light and color.
