This sterling silver ring mounting features a slightly tapered shank with an angular design and a 4-prong mounting that holds one 7 x 5mm (approx.) emerald-cut faceted gemstone. Reminiscent of a Greek or Roman column, the sides of the shank have etched swirl accents and a wrap detail at the base of the decorative design where it meets the plain, square-profile bottom of the band. Cut a seat in the prongs to accommodate your stone, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place.
