Devon® Plastic Steel® is an all-purpose, epoxy-based liquid that's ideal for creating strong backings for thin or fragile cabochons. Using this black epoxy to create backs (bases) for thinner stone slices or pieces helps extend your raw material supply and provides a strong, stable foundation for more fragile stones.

  • Once fully cured, the material is sandable, shapable, waterproof and chemical resistant.
  • Liquid Plastic Steel sets in five minutes and is fully cured after 16 hours.
