These jewel-setting sticks are an easy-to-use, inexpensive solution for picking up and precisely placing gemstones (and small components). A paraffin wax ball at the tip of each plastic stick holds small stones securely while you place them. Simply touch the wax end to the top of the jewel to pick it up. Apply an adhesive to the setting and place the stone. Use the pointed end of the stick to make any adjustments that may be needed to achieve the precise positioning you want.
