Sterling Silver Round Wrap-Tite Component Mounting

This sterling silver Wrap-Tite® component mounting features a self-forming attach ring and holds one 6mm round faceted gemstone. Add a bail to create a pendant, or use a jump ring or split ring to make an earring drop or charm. Set your gemstone face down and place the mounting around the girdle of the stone; then use round-nose pliers to gently tighten the mounting snugly against the stone. Insert a heavy-gauge wire or the tip of an awl or other round-tipped tool into the end loop while tightening the mounting.
