This sterling silver cabochon mounting holds one 18 x 13mm oval cabochon. It features a decorative, open filigree design and can be used vertically or horizontally. The teardrop-shaped openings on the top, bottom and sides accommodate a 16-ga. jump ring or wire for easy use. Cabochon mountings feature a flat, sometimes open, base and raised edges with two to four prongs that hold the stone securely in place. A classic choice, the 4-prong setting supports the gemstone on four sides. Manufactured to exacting quality standards in our solar-powered facility.
