The jaws of these Lindstrom® stubby flat-nose pliers are parallel from pivot to tip and have flat interior surfaces and squared-off tips. The short jaw length of these pliers provides greater control and leverage, allowing you to work with heavier gauge metal. Flat-nose pliers are ideal for wider, broader bends in wire, for metal-forming, straightening and flattening sheet and wire and for making angled bends.
