This 18-karat yellow gold push clasp features a sleek oval shape and a spring-loaded hinge opening. The clasp is lightweight but strong, constructed of slightly hollowed cast components that are assembled and soldered together after casting. Hook & eye clasps are two part clasps that close by hooking one side (the hook) to a large closed ring (the eye).
