This heart-shaped simulated amethyst displays a purple color and facets that catch and reflect the light. Use it by itself for simple earring or ring designs, or highlight the vibrant color by pairing it with contrasting-color gemstones in a pendant or brooch for a multicolor look. This simulated garnet is made with lab-created corundum. Simulated garnet allows you to offer customers the color and characteristics of natural garnet at a lower price point. By using a tinted adhesive to connect two sections of clear, lab-created spinel at the girdle, creating a doublet, labs can produce consistent color throughout the gemstone.
