Use this durable, smooth-surfaced asbestos-free Solderite™ pad to protect work areas against burning during soldering or to support hot flasks after casting. It's also ideal for laying out flat work for production soldering and can be drilled or shaped to meet your specific size needs. The pad won’t flake or crumble, and can be sanded to restore surface smoothness. The surface is highly heat-reflective with a fast cool-down time. Maximum temperature: 1,700°F (927°C)
