This 14-karat white gold pendant mounting holds one 7mm (1-1/4-ct., approx.) faceted gemstone in a 4-prong basket mounting. It features a classic rabbit-ear bail—a tapered bail that’s split in half vertically, giving it the appearance of a pair of long, curving rabbit ears. Basket settings feature open sides designed to allow more light to reach and move through the stone, enhancing its brightness and brilliance. Cut a seat in the prongs to accommodate your stone, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place.
