This soft, round copper quality tag (sometimes called a design or jewelry tag) is annealed and has a soft to dead-soft hardness. Attach it to let your customers know what is special about your design; stamp or engrave information such as the purity of the metal, country of origin ("Made in the USA"), or your logo or signature design. The tag is die struck with clean, crisp edges and will require some finishing to smooth its edges and polish its surface. This tag is ideal for enameling; when enameling on metal thinner than 20ga., it is important to use a counter-enamel on the back of the piece to prevent distortion or cracking of the enamel on the front surface. This tag has a soft temper; it may arrive with a slight dome and is easy to bend, shape and hammer. The color of copper makes it a great component for base-metal, mixed-metal and alternative materials designs. Copper can also be popular with some customers for its perceived spiritual/medicinal properties. Manufactured to exacting quality standards in our solar-powered facility.
