Swanstrom Confirming Pliers Set

This set of three Swanstrom confirming pliers (NR1124) delivers great flexibility when working with either narrow or wide folds. Each pair of pliers in this set have 3/4"-deep jaws. Confirming pliers have leading edges thinned to an almost knife-like fineness, excellent for pinching and confirming the edges of a corrugated pattern; a set screw allows you to adjust the stop and achieve the exact same pressure again and again. The anti-glare finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.

• These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves. The screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• The double-leaf springs consist of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed. The spring delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
• Extremely durable and ergonomically designed Soft-Touch™ handles are extra-long, wide, textured and padded to distribute pressure across the palm, relieving the carpal tunnel pocket. All Swanstrom tool handles are latex free. Swanstrom Tools manufactures technically advanced cutters and pliers, forged from high chromium, high carbon alloy steel, and hardened to 65 HRC.
