Pink Opal Flat Top Heart Cabochon

This natural pink opal cabochon features a heart shape with straight side with a flat top and bottom. It displays a range of soft pink colors and is a beautiful choice for bracelets, pendants and anklets. Without the play of color typical of other opals, natural pink opal is a combination of opal, palygorskite, and chalcedony. Opal is a relatively soft mineral that comprises silicon and water and is characterized by and valued for its display of flashing rainbow colors, referred to as the "play-of-color."
