Midas® Liver of Sulfur XL Gel

Midas® XL Gel liver of sulfur formula helps you achieve a dark, eye-catching contrast on your jewelry designs; against a bright or matte finish on jewelry metals, the dark patina highlights details and emphasizes contours. Liver of sulfur is one of the most effective oxidizers for silver and copper and works best producing a smooth, black finish, when either it (or the workpiece) is hot. The XL Gel is specially formulated for extended shelf life, versatility and convenient, dependable use. After oxidizing, protect the finish by sealing the jewelry piece using Renaissance wax, lacquer or other sealant. Midas® XL Gel may be used in its ready form or by mixing 1 teaspoon of gel with 12 oz. of heated water. Each jar contains 4 oz., enough to make twenty-four 12-oz. portions of dark patina solution.
