Perform a wide range of hand-wrought decorative surfacing on metal with these quality-made, hardened steel tools from Fretz® Tools. This set includes two TX-series tools with different tip sizes designed for applying textures or patterning to metal surfaces using embossing (chasing) techniques. The shank of the tool is squared-off and matte-finished with a 90° twist at the end, providing a secure, slip-free grip while working. The tip of the tool is highly polished with a mirror finish to form without marring the metal surface.

Texturing tools feature scored or roughened tips ideal for creating patterns or textures within the background of a chased piece to give the design depth. The TX-1 sharp tool imparts a frosted finish; the more rounded TX-2 will generate a delicate pebble effect.
