E-Coating Stripping Solution

Designed to be permanent, e-coatings (and powder coatings) are extraordinarily difficult to remove. This solution is designed to make removing these coatings fast and easy when the need arises. The solution penetrates the coating and dissolves the bonding agents that hold the coating particles together, allowing them to fall away from the metal surface. Works beautifully on most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Used at room temperature by a simple immersion method, the solution works efficiently without scraping, scrubbing or air-blasting; simple agitation is highly recommended to expedite the stripping action and to help move dissolved coating off and away from workpieces. Filter the solution regularly to remove coating particulates and to extend the service life of the solution. This biodegradable solution contains no carcinogenic chemicals and no chlorinated or other ozone-depleting substances.
