This Argentium® Silver pinch bail mounting is adjustable and accommodates a variety of shapes and diameters of beads or other drilled or divoted findings; the double-bail design leaves more room for larger-size drops or beads. Use it with a drilled briolette or gemstone bead for an easy and elegant pendant. Facing pegs inside the mounting fit into the bead holes; trim the pegs as needed. For a permanent mounting, use jeweler's epoxy to secure the pegs inside the holes. Made with a touch of germanium, Argentium® Silver presents a bright-white color that is closer to fine silver than traditional sterling, yet is highly resistant to firescale and less likely to tarnish under most conditions.
