This set of Glardon Vallorbe® riffler files includes a variety of double-ended shapes and profiles, maximizing the available cutting area of the files; the six-piece set ensures you have the file shape you need for all of your jewelry designs. Use these files to form and shape edges and contours and refine hard-to-reach areas and contoured surfaces. This set includes one of each style number: 15, 30, 42, 52, 63 and 81. These files have a Swiss cut #2; Swiss-cut files are graded by the number of teeth, counting teeth perpendicular to the long axis of the file. In all cut styles, the higher the number, the finer its cut. Riffler files are double-ended with a smooth handle area between the two ends and are manufactured in a variety of shapes and profiles. The first choice for most jewelers, Glardon Vallorbe® files are manufactured to the highest production standards, made in Switzerland of the finest heat-tempered chrome-alloy steel, hardened to 65 HRC. The files are made from tough, durable high-carbon steel (66 HRC) and precision-ground to cut quickly and accurately and to last longer than just about any other file on the market.
