This affordable Kyocera Citrine simulated opal drop features an elongated teardrop shape with a vibrant “play of color,” giving it a unique light-reflecting quality that enhances any earring or necklace design. Use the bead individually to create an elegant earring drop or combine it with other colors and styles of gemstone or pearl beads to create more complex pendant and necklace designs. Use jeweler’s epoxy to secure the drop onto a peg. Simulated opal is an economical alternative to natural opal. It features many of the characteristic light play of genuine opal but is more durable and easier to work with.
